Alright, Spring has officially been here for about eight days now and I’m just wishing it would be 70 degrees out all day, every day already. Even though it’s still brisky out, that doesn’t mean you can’t look for new pieces for when you spring clean! I’ve done a little round up of 10 statement tops for Spring, with a little inspiration from the 2017 runways.
Taking a note from Wall Street, business stripes were everywhere (as evidenced by Tanya Taylor, DKNY, Self-Portrait, Pyer Moss, Rag & Bone from left to right)

and I consider them a classic. As a classic, I love when they have unexpected pieces or details like this super plain front with an awesome tie-back as a statement:
Or this off-the-shoulder, bell-sleeve (three trends in one shirt and it isn’t even busy!):
Bold stripes were also a trend on the runway this Spring, rocked by Altuzarra, Proenza Schouler, Opening Ceremony, and Ports 1961 (left to right).
I’m not really one for the neons and really bold, but I fell in love with the neutral colors of this top and the perfect amount of ruffle on the sleeves for a little bit of drama:
Just because it’s Spring doesn’t mean you have to go all out in color either. Everyone knows all I wear is neutrals/blacks/whites. So I figured I’d toss in this super cute off the shoulder crop top. It’s flowy and screams Spring without being all fruity:
Strappy shirts are still in this season and I’m in love with the blush trend (even though I hate pink!). This shirt is so simple with a little detail from the ties that you can make your own statement with. Make a bow, wrap them around, whatever you feel, girl:
Still on the blush trend, this bell-sleeve was just too gorgeous to pass up on my round up. It’s so feminine but powerful to me. With those sleeves!:
I’ve wanted to jump on that pajama-shirt-during-the-day bandwagon, but I just never found one that I particularly liked. BUT THIS. Floral is Spring no matter which way you crank it and this is so versatile. You can dress it up with a skirt, dress it down with some jeans or joggers, just dress it:
Stickin’ with that floral, if you’re not so much into that pajama shirt but you’re still leaning towards those petals, hit up this top. I love the casual vibe it’s got with a little bit of structure as well:
Did you think we were off the floral yet? Think again! But this is the embroidery side of the trend. I know I’ve put a lot of floral pieces in this roundup, but joke’s on you: I’ve never really been a fan of floral until these. If anything, this would have been my first pick because the flowers are subtle, the black is on point, it’s a button-up, and embroidery just oozes cool nowadays:
And if you’re not into button-ups, check out this graphic tee that gives off the most casual-cool vibe:
Now go out into the world and fill your closet! Style to your desire! Also, let me know which piece was your favorite in the comments below <3
